Role Description The Human Resource Management role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The role involves managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement for staff and volunteers. Day-to-day activities include maintaining HR records, supporting policy implementation, coordinating training and development programs, and handling basic finance-related HR tasks such as payroll inputs and benefits administration. The position also focuses on effective resource allocation across projects, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring clear communication between leadership, teams, and external partners. The HR professional will collaborate with program managers to align human resources with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong resource management skills to plan, allocate, and optimize human resources across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Analytical skills to interpret HR data, assess workforce needs, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic finance-related skills to support HR budgeting, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
- Experience in training design and delivery, including organizing workshops and capacity-building sessions for staff and volunteers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of HR policies, labor regulations in India, and best practices in nonprofit or social sector organizations.
- Proven ability to work ethically, maintain confidentiality, and support an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with HR software and standard office productivity tools.
