A Luxurious Haven - Nestled in the heart of the capital, Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi, is a fine and eminent five-star hotel in a Prime location close to business, shopping and entertainment districts in the city. Hotel has sprawling lawns and timeless architecture, inspired by the work of Edwin Lutyen, one of the greatest British architects of the twentieth century with 320 recently refurbished rooms and suites with 5 award-winning restaurants and bars namely Mister Chai, Shang Palace, Sorrento, Tamra and Grappa.
What will I be doing?
You will assist the Director of HRD with strategy to manage and support the onsite HR and L&D team.
What Will You Be Doing
- Provide Human Resources business partnering for the hotel
- Perform talent acquisitions and coordinate recruitment and selection, ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Ability to build and promote employee engagement activities
- Advocate for positive workplace culture and drive engagement initiatives
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members and managers on performance, development, and employee relations matters.
- Ensure HR policies are updated, compliant with local employment legislation
- Oversee HR reporting, analytics, and HRIS data accuracy
- Work on all the HRD initiatives and also lead audits
- Assists in coordinating the scheduled Performance Development Review by conducting training to all staff, except for Service Executive levels.
- Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability.
- Control costs when possible and assist in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets.
- Assists in fostering beneficial communication and network with relevant external agencies and organizations.
- Formulation and implementation of generic trainings, especially the Shangri-La Care core modules.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Preferably possesses relevant experience in administrative, functions and processes for all employees include casual and contractors
- Has excellent knowledge of local labour laws with respect to the new labour codes
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Understanding of human resources payroll processes and procedures and working closely with outsourced vendors
- Experiences in human resources operations and relevant experience as Human Resources Business Partner
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive HR initiatives end‑to‑end.
- Has an insight on delivering leadership cultural workshops.

- Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and technique
- Behavioral Science/ Psychology graduate
- Self-starter, Team-builder, Goals-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to develop interpersonal relationships
- Exceptional presentation and grooming
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
- Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
