Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at The Country Inn’s property in Jaipur. This position oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned, maintained, and presented to high standards. Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring tasks for housekeeping staff, inspecting rooms and common areas, coordinating laundry services, managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and supporting check-in and check-out processes through timely room readiness. The role also involves handling guest requests and feedback related to cleanliness, training team members on procedures and safety standards, and collaborating with management to uphold brand standards and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess housekeeping skills, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess laundry skills, including handling linens, operating laundry equipment, and maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping supervision is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operations.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and scheduling; familiarity with housekeeping software is an advantage.
