Hospital Housekeeping Staff
Job Description
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping activities in hospital premises.
- Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
- Follow hospital hygiene and infection-control practices.
- Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, corridors, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Follow proper waste handling and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain good discipline, punctuality, and professional behaviour.
- Work effectively in shifts as per hospital requirements.
- Cooperate with housekeeping team members and other hospital staff.
- Maintain respectful and polite behaviour with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
- Follow all hospital SOPs, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills & Eligibility
- Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation.
- Knowledge of hospital hygiene and infection-control practices.
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Good discipline and punctuality.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Good teamwork and behaviour.
- Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties.
