Role Description The Corporate Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves monitoring and safeguarding company premises, assets, and personnel through regular patrols, access control checks, and surveillance system oversight. The Corporate Security Officer will manage incident response, maintain security logs and documentation, and escalate risks or breaches according to company protocols. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders and external agencies, supporting emergency preparedness and drills, and ensuring compliance with company security policies and relevant regulations. The role also requires providing clear briefings to staff and visitors on security procedures and contributing to continuous improvement of security measures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of corporate security operations, including access control, surveillance, and incident response.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, prepare security reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with employees, visitors, and external agencies, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts.
- Physical fitness and alertness suitable for patrolling, emergency response, and extended on-site presence.
- Understanding of relevant safety, legal, and regulatory requirements related to corporate security.
- Prior experience in corporate, industrial, or facility security; experience with large or multi-site operations is an advantage.
- Training or certification in security management, safety, or related fields (e.g., security guard certification, ex-defense or law enforcement background) is beneficial.
- Basic computer literacy for operating electronic security systems and maintaining digital records.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
