Role Description The Hospital Management Trainee will support day-to-day operations within EyeMantra’s hospitals, working closely with administrative, clinical, and support teams to ensure smooth functioning of patient services. Responsibilities include assisting with patient flow management, coordinating appointments and admissions, supporting front-desk operations, and helping maintain service quality standards. The trainee will contribute to data collection and reporting, support implementation of hospital policies, and assist in monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves learning and participating in basic budgeting, inventory, and vendor coordination activities, as well as handling patient queries in a professional and empathetic manner. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, offering structured training and exposure to modern hospital management practices.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of hospital or healthcare administration, including basic understanding of patient services and clinical workflows.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and coordination skills to handle multiple operational tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and cross-functional hospital teams.
- Ability to work with data and reports, using MS Office or similar tools for documentation, analysis, and presentation.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on service quality, patient satisfaction, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or final-year student/intern with equivalent academic background).
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to structured protocols, and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Prior internship or exposure to healthcare or hospitality services is an advantage.
