Role Description Security Guards at Greater Security Services are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, and property on-site in Hyderabad. This full-time role includes monitoring entrances and exits, conducting regular patrols, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and enforcing site-specific security procedures. Daily tasks involve checking identification when required, managing visitor logs, responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies, and coordinating with supervisors or local authorities as needed. Security Guards also assist with basic customer service needs, such as giving directions, answering questions, and maintaining a professional presence at all times. This is an on-site role that requires consistent attendance, adherence to company policies, and the ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact respectfully with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Candidates should possess skills in Physical Security, including patrolling, access control, and incident observation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Personnel Security and Private Security, with an understanding of protecting people, assets, and confidential information.
- Relevant experience as a security guard, watchperson, or similar role is preferred; prior work in residential, commercial, or industrial security is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, remain alert, and respond calmly and effectively in stressful situations.
- Basic literacy and record-keeping skills to complete logs, reports, and documentation accurately; familiarity with using phones or simple digital devices is helpful.
- Willingness to follow instructions, adhere to legal and ethical guidelines, and comply with company and client policies.
- Local language proficiency and basic English communication skills are an advantage; prior training or certification in security or safety is a plus.
