About the Role
We are seeking skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineers to join engineering teams across Australia. This opportunity is suited to professionals with experience in mechanical design, engineering analysis, project execution, maintenance, manufacturing, or related engineering environments.
The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to support the design, development, implementation, and improvement of mechanical systems and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and reports.
- Perform engineering calculations, analysis, testing, and technical evaluations.
- Support product development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, or maintenance activities.
- Review designs and identify opportunities for performance, safety, quality, and cost improvements.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and technical problem-solving.
- Investigate engineering issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Maintain accurate technical records and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related technical environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering analysis, and technical documentation.
- Experience with relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, ANSYS, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Good understanding of workplace health, safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
