Role Description The Health Safety Environment Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. This role is responsible for supervising and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs across client sites and internal operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, and investigating incidents and near misses. The supervisor will develop and deliver safety training, support PPE selection and usage, maintain documentation and reporting, and collaborate with operational teams to improve safety performance. The role also involves recommending corrective and preventive actions and supporting continuous improvement in HSE practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, including knowledge of industrial safety practices and regulations.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) expertise, with the ability to design, implement, and monitor HSE programs and policies.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation and Inspection skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
- Certifications in ISO 45001 or similar safety standards, and familiarity with industrial audits and PPE solutions, are an advantage.
- Strong communication, reporting, and training facilitation skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels.
- Experience in industrial sectors such as power, oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar environments is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented approach to safety.
