Hiring | Head – Security | Mumbai
We are looking for an experienced Head – Security to lead Fire & Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Risk Management, Safety Compliance and Loss Prevention across a large organisation.
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 12–18 Years
Reporting To: CEO / COO
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Fire & Safety operations and compliance across locations
- Develop and implement Fire Safety SOPs, emergency response and evacuation plans
- Conduct fire safety audits, risk assessments and vulnerability reviews
- Plan and conduct fire drills, mock drills and emergency response exercises
- Ensure readiness of fire detection, alarm, suppression and firefighting systems
- Manage statutory compliance, licences, NOCs and coordination with authorities
- Investigate fire, safety, theft and loss-related incidents
- Drive loss prevention, pilferage and asset-protection initiatives
- Manage safety teams, vendors, AMCs and outsourced manpower
- Promote human rights awareness, employee dignity and ethical workplace practices
- Present safety risks, audit findings and corrective action plans to senior management
Ideal Profile:
Professionals with strong hands-on experience in Fire & Safety / EHS / Security, preferably from Corporate, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Retail or other large multi-location organisations.
Fire & Safety / EHS qualifications and relevant certifications preferred. Defence / Fire Services professionals with relevant corporate experience may also be considered.
