About the role
The Campus Security Manager (CSM) is based in Pune and is responsible for leading physical security operations across multiple datacenter sites in Pune, Jamnagar, Nagpur, and Mumbai. Reporting to the Regional Security Manager (RSM), the CSM provides operational and people leadership to Site Security Managers and security personnel across the assigned locations, ensuring the delivery of safe, secure, compliant, and high-performing security operations.
The CSM is responsible for developing and leading people, building effective teams, and driving consistent operational standards across all assigned sites. The role partners closely with Security and Datacenter Operations leadership, client stakeholders, and internal Securitas teams to support operational effectiveness, superior performance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
The CSM will work closely with other campus and site security leaders across the region to promote consistency across the security program. The role requires regular travel between the assigned sites in Pune, Jamnagar, Nagpur, and Mumbai to maintain operational visibility, engage with site teams, support client relationships, and ensure consistent execution of the security program.
The role requires a strong balance of people leadership, operational accountability, client service, strategic planning, and hands-on engagement across multiple locations.
What you’ll do
In this role, the Campus Security Manager provides leadership and oversight of physical security operations across multiple datacenter sites located in Pune, Jamnagar, Nagpur, and Mumbai. You will lead and develop Site Security Managers and security personnel, build high-performing teams, and ensure security operations are delivered consistently and effectively across all assigned locations.
You will maintain regular engagement with each assigned site and travel between Pune, Jamnagar, Nagpur, and Mumbai as required to provide operational oversight, support site teams, assess performance, address issues, and ensure alignment with security standards and client expectations.
You will actively manage and develop security personnel by partnering with the local branch on recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development. This includes setting clear expectations, coaching and mentoring employees, supporting performance management, and carrying out corrective or disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy. You will ensure employees are treated with dignity and respect while creating an environment that supports engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
You will work closely with site and regional leadership to establish priorities, assign and manage security projects and operational tasks, and ensure work is completed effectively and on time. You will evaluate the effectiveness of security operations across assigned locations, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that enhance team performance and service delivery.
Safety is a key responsibility of the role. You will drive safety programming across the security team, promote safe work practices, and support a culture focused on achieving zero workplace injuries across assigned sites.
You will monitor site health and key performance indicators across the portfolio, working with the Regional Security Manager to address performance gaps and improve overall security team effectiveness. You will maintain visibility of major accomplishments, issues, risks, and concerns across assigned locations and escalate significant matters as appropriate.
The CSM serves as a key client-facing leader and regularly meets with client representatives and Securitas corporate management to review account performance, address issues, and support security planning, assessments, surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the assigned locations and use clear, professional communication to support a safe and secure environment.
You will also support audit readiness and compliance activities, including following standardised procedures for unannounced audits and ensuring assigned sites are prepared to meet applicable operational and security requirements.
This position requires regular travel between assigned sites in Pune, Jamnagar, Nagpur, and Mumbai. Travel requirements will vary based on business and operational needs and may require travel at short notice to support operational priorities, critical incidents, site activities, or other business requirements. Additional duties may be assigned or responsibilities modified according to business needs.
