About DocPulse Technologies
DocPulse is a cloud-based Hospital & Health Information System (HIS) built for clinics, medical centers, and small-to-mid-sized hospitals — the most underserved segment of Indian healthcare. Over 10+ years, we've grown to serve 390+ active clients and 4,000+ doctors across India, Bahrain, and Tanzania, touching 5 million+ patients. Our platform spans OPD/IPD management, teleconsultation, diagnostics, pharmacy, and analytics, and we are ABDM, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR certified.
We're investing in professionalizing and scaling our sales, marketing, and product functions — and this role is one of the most important hires of that plan.
The OpportunityDocPulse has built a strong, proven product and a loyal client base — now we're ready to bring in dedicated sales leadership to take that foundation and scale it deliberately. This is a rare opportunity to build a sales function from the ground up: design the process, the team, the tooling, and the strategy, with real ownership and a direct line to the CEO and founders.
We're hiring a Head of Sales & Revenue Growth to take full, end-to-end ownership of the sales function — sharpening what's working, building new capabilities including outbound demand generation, and turning sales into a measurable, scalable engine for DocPulse's next phase of growth.
What You'll Do• Own the sales function end-to-end: lead management, qualification, demos, quotation, negotiation, and closing — across our full client spectrum (individual doctors, clinics, and hospitals).
• Audit and re-engineer the sales process: study our current sales process (lead routing, outreach, demo-to-close cycle) end to end, identify gaps, and redesign it for scale and conversion efficiency.
• Build outbound capability: stand up and scale outbound demand generation, and identify new lead sources and channels beyond our current pipeline.
• Drive sales enablement: work with product and engineering to arm the sales team with the sharpest, most differentiating product knowledge and pitch material, reducing drop-off through the funnel.
• Build reporting and visibility: stand up a full-scale sales funnel and lifecycle dashboard, and deliver a weekly sales debrief to the CEO.
• Lead the sales team: set KRAs and KPIs, define and refine targets and incentive structures, and take hiring and performance decisions for the sales team, including team engagement and coaching.
• Own growth targets: take direct ownership of client growth, revenue growth, and diversification across our subscription (SaaS), enterprise/AMC, and emerging AI-powered product lines.
• Partner with our marketing agency: we've engaged an agency tasked with significantly increasing lead volume — work closely with them to optimize lead generation and to develop or refresh core sales collateral (decks, PDFs, flyers, website content, blogs, testimonials).
• Support international expansion: play a key role in growing our footprint across the Middle East and Africa, including evaluating and building channel partner relationships.
• Hire additional sales executives: bring in sales talent as needed, with discretion over hiring decisions for your team — including two open roles that need to be filled immediately.
• Build our vendor channel partner program from 0 to 1: identify, meet, and formalize agreements with hospital-project vendors — equipment, furniture, and licensing providers — who sit at the point of highest intent when a new hospital or clinic is being set up, using both your own existing network and new contacts sourced through outbound effort.
• Own our Enterprise HIS pipeline: personally build relationships and close larger, bed-based deals with multi-bed hospitals and multi-location chains — our highest-value segment.
• Stand up our first structured outbound sales motion: build and direct a small outbound calling team, define target lead lists and experiments, set success criteria, and close the resulting pipeline personally.
• Drive our referral programs: own and actively grow participation in our customer and external referral programs as a low-cost, high-trust source of qualified pipeline.
• Build our industry presence: represent DocPulse at targeted healthcare-leadership and hospital-operations industry events, building the relationships and contacts that feed our vendor and enterprise pipelines.
What We're Looking For• 10+ years in B2B sales, including at least 5 years in a leadership role specifically within HealthTech B2B SaaS sales, owning a full funnel and a team — both are mandatory requirements for this role, not preferences.
• An existing resource of hospital administrator, hospital-operations, and healthcare-vendor contacts and networks that you can activate from day one — a significant advantage for this role.
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling an outbound motion, not just managing inbound pipeline.
• Strong command of CRM-driven sales operations (HubSpot or equivalent) — lead routing, pipeline hygiene, funnel analytics, and dashboarding.
• Experience designing incentive structures, KRAs/KPIs, and managing sales team performance and hiring.
• Comfort working with senior leadership — you'll be reporting progress to the CEO on a weekly basis and shaping strategy directly with the founders.
• Strong collaborator — you'll work closely with product, engineering, and an external marketing agency, not in a silo.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent DocPulse credibly to hospital administrators, doctors, and enterprise buyers.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience selling into hospitals, clinics, or healthcare/health-IT buyers.
• Experience with international market entry or channel partnerships, particularly in the Middle East or Africa.
• Exposure to selling AI-enabled product features or usage-based/credit pricing models.
• Experience standing up outbound demand generation from scratch in a B2B SaaS company.
Compensation- Market-competitive compensation, commensurate with experience — including a base + performance-linked incentive structure, and ESOPs. Specifics will be discussed during the interview process.
