Job details:
Jeena Sikho Lifecare Limited is hiring a Head of IT and Digital to lead its software team and IT infrastructure, reporting to the COO.
Role summary
We run 122+ centers across 24 states with about 5,200 employees. We need a senior IT leader who understands how our business actually runs, turns ideas from operations, marketing, HR and doctors into technology solutions, and gets them built by the team rather than building them personally. The software team and infrastructure will report to him. He also owns IT assets, security and IT compliance across all centers.
Key responsibilities
1. Technology leadership and strategy
• Own the IT and digital roadmap aligned to business goals (centers, ecommerce, HR, marketing, compliance).
• Collect ideas and problems from business teams, assess feasibility and priority, and convert them into clear requirements.
• Decide what to build in-house, what to buy and what to give to vendors.
2. Process and automation oversight
• Understand end-to-end processes (patient journey, sales, HR, finance, supply chain) and identify where technology and automation add value.
• Identify automation, AI and ML opportunities, define the scope and have the team deliver them.
• Review the team's output for quality, timelines and adoption, and run a formal change management and break-fix process.
3. Salesforce, data and AI
• Oversee the Salesforce ecosystem and implementation partners.
• Oversee the data and analytics platform and leadership reporting.
• Evaluate and introduce practical AI/ML use cases (call analysis, lead scoring, forecasting, chatbots) with clear ROI.
4. Infrastructure and IT asset management
• Own network, servers, cloud, endpoints, telephony and center-level IT infrastructure.
• Maintain a complete IT asset register covering procurement, allocation, AMC, warranty and retirement.
• Set up SLAs and a helpdesk for centers, and manage IT budgets and costs.
5. Security, compliance and risk
• Own information security, access control, backup and disaster recovery.
• Ensure IT systems meet applicable regulatory and data protection requirements, including the DPDP Act 2023 (consent, retention, access control, breach response), working with legal and compliance teams.
• Support audits and maintain documentation of IT policies and controls.
6. Vendor and stakeholder management
• Manage technology vendors and partners on contracts, SLAs, delivery and cost.
• Work closely with the COO and department heads, and report IT progress regularly.
7. Team building
• Lead, mentor and build a multi-disciplinary IT team, set KPIs, hire and develop talent.
Requirements
Must have
• 15+ years in IT, with at least 5 years leading teams in a senior role.
• Strong experience managing infrastructure, IT assets and security across a multi-location business.
• Working knowledge of IT compliance and the DPDP Act 2023, with experience implementing data protection controls.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM, marketing cloud, analytics) and of AI/ML, with proven delivery of use cases through teams or vendors.
• Strong grasp of business processes and the ability to translate them into technology requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, and a collaborative, team-first style.
• Experience in vendor management and IT budgeting.
Good to have
• Experience in healthcare, hospitals, retail or other multi-location, high-volume businesses.
• Exposure to HMS/ERP systems, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and data platforms such as BigQuery.
First 12 months
• IT asset register and helpdesk SLAs running across all centers.
• A prioritized technology roadmap, with ideas flowing in from business teams.
• A measurable number of automation or AI use cases delivered by the team and adopted by users.
• DPDP-aligned controls in place and documented, and a stable, accountable IT team.
