Role Description The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for NMIMS Distance Education AEP, with responsibility for designing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational goals. This full-time, on-site role, based in Noida, includes overseeing HR operations, developing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing employee relations, performance management processes, talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning. The role also includes partnering with senior leadership on organizational development, driving employee engagement initiatives, and establishing HR metrics for continuous improvement. The Head of Human Resources will supervise HR staff, provide guidance on complex HR matters, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture aligned with institutional values.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with a track record of leading HR functions or teams.
- Candidates should possess sound knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design, implement, and review HR Policies that support organizational objectives and employee well-being.
- Candidates should possess effective Employee Relations skills, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and engagement initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, performance management, and talent development in an education or services environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior management.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and data-driven decision-making to improve HR processes and outcomes.
