HEAD – AI & MACHINE LEARNING DEPARTMENT
Accurate Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida, invites applications for the position of Head – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Department.
We are seeking an accomplished academic leader with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and emerging technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership to the department, strengthening industry-oriented learning, promoting research and innovation, and ensuring high standards of teaching and student development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the AI & ML Department
• Plan and implement an industry-aligned curriculum in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Python and related technologies
• Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance evaluation and development
• Ensure effective academic planning, timetable management and smooth departmental operations
• Promote research, publications, patents, funded projects and faculty–student innovation
• Develop collaborations with industry, research organisations and reputed academic institutions
• Establish and strengthen AI/ML laboratories, centres of excellence and practical learning initiatives
• Encourage student participation in live projects, hackathons, competitions and technical certifications
• Support accreditation, compliance, documentation and quality-assurance processes
• Work closely with the placement and corporate relations teams to enhance students’ employability
Essential Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or a closely related discipline
• Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in the B.Tech with specialisation in relevant field, as per applicable regulatory norms
• Strong academic, research and administrative credentials
• Relevant teaching and leadership experience in a recognised higher education institution
Preferred Experience:
• Candidates with prior experience as a Head of Department, Dean, Academic Head or in a similar academic leadership role will be preferred
• Demonstrated experience in managing a department, faculty team, academic delivery and student outcomes
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, research trends and industry requirements
• Experience in accreditations, academic audits and regulatory compliance will be an advantage
