About the Role
We are looking for a Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) to work directly with the founders across Buying & Merchandising, Operations and Customer Insights. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants to understand how an early-stage consumer startup is built and scaled. You will work closely with the founders, take ownership of real business problems and get exposure to multiple functions rather than being restricted to one narrow role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support buying, merchandising and product assortment decisions
- Research products, categories, competitors and market trends
- Assist with vendor coordination and category management
- Analyse sales, product and customer data
- Identify customer preferences, feedback and actionable insights
- Support day-to-day business and operational activities
- Identify operational gaps and help improve processes
- Work on special projects and new business initiatives with the founders
- Convert data and customer insights into actionable recommendations
- Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them to completion
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate/MBA or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis
- Curious, proactive and willing to learn
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Interest in startups, retail, e-commerce, consumer businesses, buying or operations is a plus
You don't need to know everything from Day 1. We value ownership, curiosity, problem-solving ability and the willingness to learn quickly.
