Job Description: GM/Sr. Manager/Manager-Live Event Production
Department: Live Event Production & Operations
Location: On-site / National and International Travel Required

Job Overview
Responsible for the end-to-end execution, technical setup, and ground delivery of live events, exhibitions, and corporate activations. This role owns total onsite operations—transforming designs into live setups by managing technical vendors, production crews, stage builds, and strict safety protocols on time and within budget.
Core Responsibilities (Common Across Roles)
- Onsite Execution & Stage Setup: Direct complete stage builds, sound, lighting, AV/LED screens, rigging, power distribution, and special effects.
- Logistics & Venue Operations: Oversee venue recce, layout planning, spatial flow, load-in/load-out schedules, and backstage management.
- Show Running & Cues: Coordinate live show flow, call stage cues, and manage talent and backstage activities during live runs.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Source and manage technical vendors, fabricators, and local labor; control costs against approved production budgets.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety standards onsite, acquire necessary structural clearances, and implement risk control plans.
Role-Specific Scope & Experience
1. General Manager – Event Production (Live)
- Experience: 12+ years in live event production (5+ years in senior leadership).
- Key Focus: Strategic production planning, national/multi-city operational management, high-level vendor governance, and high-budget oversight.
2. Sr. Manager – Event Production (Live)
- Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on live event execution.
- Key Focus: Leading complex setups, multi-stage festivals, large corporate conventions, and directly managing cross-functional technical teams.
3. Manager – Event Production (Live)
- Experience: 5–8 years in live technical production and stage management.
- Key Focus: Day-to-day ground operations, direct vendor supervision, setup timelines, and live show cueing.
Key Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of sound, light, AV systems, staging, and CAD layouts.
- Strong crisis management, negotiation, and vendor coordination skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work non-standard hours (nights/weekends) during event builds.
