Role Description The Senior Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Senior Associate will support and lead aspects of corporate finance engagements, including financial analysis, deal structuring, and documentation for capital raising, M&A, and advisory projects. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing financial models, pitch decks, and investor presentations; conducting industry and company research; coordinating with clients, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders; and assisting in due diligence and transaction execution. The role involves collaborating with senior team members on strategic recommendations, maintaining accurate project documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work. The Senior Associate is expected to take ownership of assigned mandates, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and contribute to business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, and valuation, with the ability to interpret financial statements and prepare detailed reports.
- Experience or exposure to corporate finance domains such as capital raising, project finance, private equity, and M&A advisory.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools used for presentations, data analysis, and transaction documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear presentations, memos, and client correspondence.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to engage with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders professionally.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA, MBA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or related areas is preferred.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic organization.
