Role Description The Global Translation Project Manager (Visa, Immigration, USCIS) will oversee end-to-end management of translation projects related to visa, immigration, and USCIS documentation in a full-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include scoping new projects, defining timelines, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely translation delivery. The role involves communicating with clients to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and provide status updates, while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards for immigration-related documents. The Project Manager will monitor quality metrics, implement quality assurance checks, and optimize workflows using Lekhak’s AI tools. This position also requires identifying process improvements, documenting best practices, and supporting customer success initiatives for global clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage global clients and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Translation expertise, particularly in legal, visa, immigration, and USCIS documents.
- Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to handle multiple concurrent translation projects and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance skills to review outputs, enforce standards, and ensure accuracy across languages.
- Experience working with AI-powered translation tools or localization platforms is beneficial.
- Familiarity with immigration, visa, and USCIS processes and terminology is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, Law, or related disciplines) or equivalent practical experience.
