Role: Global Program Manager — Autonomous Data Platform (ADP)
Experience: 10+yrs
Notice period: Only immediate - 15days only
Location: Bangalore
Mode of work: Remote
About the Role
The Global Program Manager for Autonomous Data Platform (ADP) is responsible for leading the end-to-end program strategy and delivery for flagship autonomous infrastructure initiative. ADP aims to make self-operating, self-healing, and fully autonomous in its data management capabilities — and this role is at the center of making that vision real. You will coordinate across product management, engineering, cloud infrastructure, customer success, and field teams to drive structured delivery, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure ADP reaches customers in a form that generates immediate, measurable value.
What You'll Do
- Own the ADP program roadmap — translating product and engineering intent into a structured, milestone-driven delivery plan with clear owners, timelines, and success criteria.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, platform architecture, product management, and field-facing teams to ensure ADP capabilities are built, validated, and launched cohesively.
- Identify and manage technical and organizational dependencies across ADP workstreams, including integrations with Elastic Compute, Fabric as a Service, and other platform pillars.
- Establish and maintain program health reporting — tracking scope, risks, blockers, and milestone progress with the transparency needed for informed leadership decision-making.
- Lead launch readiness for ADP capabilities, ensuring GTM teams, support, and enablement functions are prepared ahead of each release.
- Define and track metrics that measure ADP program health and customer-facing impact, including time-to-value, automation coverage, and operational reliability benchmarks.
- Represent ADP in leadership reviews — communicating program status, escalating risks, and driving resolution with appropriate urgency.
- Coordinate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and early customer feedback loops that feed back into engineering priorities.
What Success Looks Like
- ADP capabilities ship on a predictable cadence with clear launch criteria, strong cross-functional alignment, and high-quality readiness artifacts across GTM, support, and enablement.
- Leadership has real-time visibility into program health, risks, and delivery confidence — with no surprises at launch.
- Engineering and product teams operate with reduced coordination friction, and dependencies across platform programs are managed proactively rather than reactively.
- Customer-facing outcomes — including time-to-automation and operational reliability — improve measurably release over release.
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with engineering leads, platform architects, product managers, and cloud infrastructure partners on the build side — and with sales engineering, field enablement, customer success, and marketing on the launch and adoption side. This role requires frequent engagement with senior leadership to drive alignment and communicate program status.
Non-Negotiable Qualifications
- 10+ years of program management experience in the tech industry, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional, global programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, infrastructure-heavy or platform engineering programs — preferably in cloud, data infrastructure, or enterprise software.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, distill complex technical dependencies into clear plans, and influence across organizational levels without direct authority.
- Strong communication skills — equally comfortable in engineering standups and executive briefings.
- Bachelor's degree required.
