Global Program Manager — Query Fabric / Fabric as a Service (FaaS)
Experience: 10+yrs
Notice period: Immediate - 15 days only
Location: Bangalore
Work mode: Remote
About the Role
The Global Program Manager for Query Fabric / Fabric as a Service (FaaS) is responsible for leading the program delivery of unified query execution platform — enabling enterprises to run analytical workloads across heterogeneous compute environments and data sources through a single, governed fabric. This is a technically complex, ecosystem-facing program that requires close coordination with engineering, cloud partners, enterprise architects, and field technical teams. The GPM owns the program structure that ensures FaaS capabilities are delivered with interoperability, enterprise readiness, and GTM alignment as first-class outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Own the Fabric as a Service program plan — defining delivery milestones across query engine integrations, connector development, governance layers, and cloud deployment targets.
- Drive alignment across engineering, platform architecture, cloud partnerships, and product management on FaaS scope, sequencing, and launch criteria.
- Manage the dependency surface between Query Fabric and other platform programs — including Elastic Compute, ADP, and Context Engine — ensuring workstreams are coordinated and blockers are resolved without downstream impact.
- Define and track enterprise readiness criteria for FaaS: security, compliance, performance SLAs, observability, and support coverage — ensuring each capability meets the bar before customer exposure.
- Partner with cloud and ecosystem alliance teams to manage external partner dependencies, integration timelines, and co-launch coordination.
- Lead technical enablement readiness — ensuring that sales engineers, solution architects, and customer-facing technical teams can position, configure, and support FaaS effectively at launch.
- Own program health reporting for FaaS leadership reviews, tracking delivery confidence, integration status, risk exposure, and partner readiness.
- Facilitate feedback loops between early adopter customers, field teams, and product engineering — translating real-world configuration and performance signals into prioritized backlog input.
What Success Looks Like
- FaaS capabilities launch with demonstrated interoperability across target compute environments, with clear documentation, validated performance benchmarks, and full technical enablement coverage.
- Cross-program dependencies are managed proactively — engineering teams operate with clear interfaces and handoffs, and FaaS delivery does not create drag on adjacent platform programs.
- Cloud and ecosystem partners are engaged, aligned on timelines, and ready to co-deliver or co-market at launch.
- Field and customer-facing technical teams are equipped to configure and support FaaS from day one, reducing time-to-value for early customers.
Who You'll Work With
This role requires deep engagement with platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and solutions architecture on the build side, and with sales engineering, technical enablement, customer success, and cloud alliance teams on the deployment and adoption side. You will represent FaaS program status to senior leadership and navigate external partner relationships at a program level.
Non-Negotiable Qualifications
- 10+ years of program management experience in the tech industry, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional, global programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing technically complex platform or infrastructure programs — ideally with cloud, data, or query/compute infrastructure components.
- Ability to engage credibly with engineers and architects on technical scope and integration design, while simultaneously managing GTM and enablement workstreams.
- Strong dependency management skills — experience mapping and managing large, multi-team delivery programs with external partner components.
- Effective communicator across engineering, field, and executive audiences.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federated query engines, data virtualization, cloud data platforms, or multi-cloud architecture programs.
- Familiarity with ecosystem partner management and co-sell or co-launch motions with cloud providers.
- PMP or equivalent certification; agile delivery experience in a large engineering organization.
- Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
