Job Description:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions.
The candidate will work closely with Development, Product, DevOps, and QA teams to improve automation coverage, strengthen CI/CD testing, and ensure reliable software releases across web, mobile, and OTT applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Automate testing for web, mobile, and OTT applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve defects.
- Review requirements and technical designs from a testability and automation perspective.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Improve automation coverage, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Define and follow automation standards, best practices, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Manual QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to improve release quality.
- Evaluate and adopt suitable automation tools and technologies.
Mandatory Skills
- 3 - 5 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one automation framework such as : Selenium, Playwright,C Appium,ypress,Appium or similar tools.
- Strong programming experience in at least one:Java, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python
- Hands-on experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of SDLC and test strategies.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Good to Have
- Experience with API automation/testing.
- Experience testing web, mobile, and OTT applications.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience in performance testing.
- Experience defining automation standards and best practices.
- Technical leadership or mentoring experience.
- Contributions to open-source projects are a plus
