Role Description This is a full-time, on-site German Teacher role based in Ambala. The German Teacher will deliver structured language lessons to learners preparing for study or work abroad, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Daily responsibilities include planning lesson materials, conducting classroom sessions, assigning and assessing homework, monitoring learner progress, and providing individual feedback and support. The role also involves preparing learners for language proficiency exams, maintaining accurate academic records, and collaborating with counseling and training teams to align language instruction with overseas education requirements. The teacher is expected to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment and participate in curriculum improvement and internal training activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong German Teaching and Tutoring skills, with the ability to teach learners at different proficiency levels.
- Candidates should possess Teaching and Education skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, with experience in conducting structured language training programs or exam preparation courses.
- Proficiency in German language (preferably B2 or higher, with certification such as Goethe, TestDaF, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field; a formal teaching qualification or training certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to support diverse learners in a non-discriminatory, inclusive classroom environment.
- Experience teaching in coaching centers, schools, or language institutes, particularly for study-abroad aspirants, is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with counseling and operations teams, maintain accurate records, and adapt teaching methods as per learner needs.
