Role Description As a Marathi Teacher at Hindustani Tongue, you will conduct online lessons that help learners speak Marathi confidently from day one using immersion-based teaching methods. In this part-time remote role, you will design and deliver engaging lesson plans, select appropriate visual materials, and create interactive exercises that mirror real-life situations. You will assess learners’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to suit different proficiency levels and learning styles. The role also involves collaborating with the academic team to refine curriculum content, maintaining accurate records of learner performance, and ensuring a supportive, inclusive online classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong command of Marathi (native or near-native proficiency) and good working knowledge of English for instruction and communication.
- Experience in teaching Marathi or other languages, preferably using communicative or immersion-based methods.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans, visual materials, and interactive activities tailored to diverse age groups.
- Comfort with online teaching tools, video conferencing platforms, and basic digital content creation.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive teaching style.
- Relevant educational background in languages, education, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability to work part-time on a flexible schedule and manage remote teaching responsibilities independently.
