Role Description The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, including production planning, quality assurance, and logistics for refractory recycling and green raw material manufacturing. This role will manage cross-functional teams, set performance targets, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The General Manager will also drive business development, maintain key customer relationships, and support strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, profitability, and sustainability. Regular responsibilities include reviewing operational metrics, optimizing processes, guiding team members, and reporting performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, recycling, or industrial materials.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Solid understanding of production workflows, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Ability to develop and implement business strategies, budgets, and performance improvement plans.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Awareness of environmental, health, and safety standards relevant to industrial and recycling operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior management or general management role is highly preferred.
- Comfort working on-site in an industrial environment and coordinating with production floor teams knowledge of excel ,word, powerpoint is must.
