Lead AI and Data Solutions Engineer II role focused on enterprise-scale Generative AI and data solution delivery at Deloitte Consulting. The position combines architecture, hands-on development, team leadership, and client-facing delivery across AI and data platforms.

Experience
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, or NLP
- Led a 3–5-member team on multiple end-to-end AI/GenAI projects
- Excellent communication and client/stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading and delivering large-scale AI/GenAI projects across multiple industries and domains
Qualification
- BE/B.Tech
- M.C.A.
- M.Sc (CS)
- Equivalent degree from accredited university
- AI/Cloud certification from a premier institute preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions
- Collaborate with functional teams and clients to understand business requirements
- Provide architectural and implementation recommendations
- Lead documentation efforts aligned to standards and best practices
- Direct solution design and development for timely delivery
- Work with project leadership to identify and escalate risks
- Prepare status reports
- Mentor junior team members
- Facilitate communication across engagement teams
- Provide estimation and technical input for proposals
- Support pre-sales, client pursuits, and end-to-end project delivery
- Liaise with on-site and client teams to understand business problem statements and project requirements
- Lead Data Engineers, ML/AI Engineers, Prompt Engineers, and other Data & AI professionals from inception to implementation
- Brainstorm, build, and improve AI/GenAI models and identify model improvement opportunities and best practices
- Drive a human-led culture of Inclusion & Diversity
Additional Responsibilities
- Support sales and proposal efforts
- Drive end-to-end project delivery including estimation and planning
- Ensure successful outcomes and alignment of project objectives with client needs
- Help transform technology platforms and re-engineer operations and processes
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms
- Integrate structured and unstructured data to generate insights using cloud, edge, and AI/ML technologies
- Leverage automation, cognitive, and AI-based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios, and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading data ecosystems and application platforms
- Use analytics expertise and As-a-Service models to provide continuous insights and enhancements
- Work with clients to innovate and enhance data, AI, and analytics capabilities
- Contribute to professional growth and networking opportunities
Nice To Have
- Should follow research papers and innovate or present best approaches related to Generative AI components
- Familiar with Docker containerization

- Up to date with new research and progress in the field of Generative AI
