Role Description The Fulltime German Till B2 Trainer will deliver high-quality, in-person German language instruction up to B2 level at the Gandhinagar campus. Responsibilities include planning and conducting interactive lessons for middle school and adult learners, designing and updating curriculum and learning materials aligned with program objectives, and assessing learner progress through tests, assignments, and practical activities. The trainer will provide regular feedback and academic support, maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with academic coordinators to improve teaching methods and course outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar, requiring consistent classroom presence and participation in institutional meetings, training, and academic events.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and classroom management skills, with experience working with middle school or adolescent learners.
- Ability in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to German language learning up to B2 level.
- Expertise in language arts and German language pedagogy, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and support diverse learning styles.
- Proficiency in German language at B2 level or higher (certifications such as Goethe, TestDaF, or equivalent preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, German Studies, or a related field; a teaching certification or training in language education is an advantage.
- Ability to use digital tools and educational technology to enhance classroom learning and learner engagement.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a learner-centric approach, with a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Prior experience as a German language trainer or teacher in school, college, coaching center, or EdTech settings is highly beneficial.
