Role Description The Full-Time German Faculty role at Article Academy is an on-site position based in the Pune Division. The faculty member will plan and deliver German language lessons, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for learners at various proficiency levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting interactive classroom sessions, assessing student performance through tests and assignments, and providing individualized feedback to support progress. The role also involves aligning course content with exam or certification requirements where applicable, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with other faculty members to continuously improve teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong command of the German language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, with the ability to teach learners at beginner to advanced levels.
- Proven teaching or training experience in German language instruction, preferably in a classroom or academic setting.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, develop engaging teaching materials, and use diverse instructional techniques to support different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or a related field; language teaching certifications (e.g., from Goethe-Institut) are an advantage.
- Experience working with adult learners or professionals preparing for international exams or certifications is beneficial.
- Comfort using basic educational technology and digital tools to support teaching, assessment, and student tracking.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in maintaining schedules, and a commitment to full-time, on-site work in the Pune Division.
