Role Description This is a full-time, on-site French Teacher role based in Hyderabad. The French Teacher will plan and deliver engaging French language lessons aligned with Cambridge and/or CBSE curriculum requirements, using appropriate instructional materials and methods for different grade levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular feedback to learners and families. The role involves creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, supporting language acquisition through speaking, reading, writing, and listening activities, and integrating cultural elements of French-speaking countries. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and overall student well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in French Teaching and general Teaching, with ability to design effective language lessons for varied learner levels.
- Experience or aptitude in Tutoring and individual support, helping students with diverse learning needs progress in French.
- Background in Education and familiarity with curriculum frameworks (Cambridge and/or CBSE) relevant to language teaching.
- Experience or interest in Teacher Training, mentoring peers, or contributing to professional learning communities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French, with clear, professional communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Languages, Education, or a related field; formal teaching certification or diploma is preferred.
- Prior classroom teaching experience in a school setting, ideally with Cambridge or CBSE curricula, is an advantage.
- Ability to create inclusive, student-centered learning environments and manage classrooms effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to participate actively in school activities and initiatives.
