🔹 ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an **experienced and target-driven Senior Freight Forwarding Sales Executive** to lead **business development and client acquisition in the US Market**.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in **International Freight Forwarding Sales**, with strong knowledge of **Air Freight & Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Import & Export, Customs Clearance, and International Logistics**.
Experience handling **US customers / US trade lanes** will be highly preferred.
🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage **new business opportunities in the US Market** for freight forwarding services.
• Generate qualified leads through **cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and market research**.
• Promote **Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Import & Export, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, and Door-to-Door Logistics Solutions**.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with **importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and logistics partners**.
• Understand customer shipping requirements and provide **customized logistics solutions**.
• Coordinate with **Pricing & Operations teams** to prepare competitive freight quotations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and **close profitable business deals**.
• Achieve assigned **monthly and quarterly sales targets**.
• Maintain sales pipeline, CRM records, and prepare regular **MIS / sales reports**.
• Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor **market trends, competitor activities, and trade opportunities** to generate new business.
✅ REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
✔ 4–7 years of experience in **International Freight Forwarding Sales**
✔ Strong experience in **Air Freight & Ocean Freight Sales – Import & Export**
✔ Proven experience in **Business Development & Client Acquisition**
✔ Experience handling **US customers / US Market** is highly preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of **FCL, LCL, DDP, DDU & Incoterms**
✔ Good understanding of **Customs Clearance & International Logistics**
✔ Strong negotiation, presentation & communication skills
✔ Experience with **CRM, MS Office & Sales Pipeline Management**
✔ Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business
✔ Strong target-oriented and self-motivated approach
