About Us
r3 Consultant is a boutique recruitment firm specializing in niche and senior-level technology hiring. We partner with growth-stage and enterprise clients to fill hard-to-source roles across backend engineering, data/ML, infrastructure, product engineering, and other specialized tech domains.
The Opportunity
We're building a network of experienced tech recruiters who want meaningful additional income without committing to fixed hours or a full-time role. This is a pure performance-based engagement — no targets, no minimum hours, work around your current job or commitments. You bring your network and sourcing skill; we bring niche, high-ticket mandates and manage the client relationship.
What You'll Do
- Source and screen candidates for niche and senior/high-ticket tech roles (e.g. staff/principal engineers, ML/AI specialists, infra leads, engineering managers) shared by our team
- Submit qualified profiles through our process for client review
- Manage candidate communication through the interview stages
- Coordinate with our internal team on scheduling, feedback, and offer stages
Compensation — Pay Per Performance
No fixed retainer. You earn at every stage a candidate progresses:
- ₹100 for every submission the client shortlists for a first-round interview
- ₹300 more when that candidate reaches the final round
- 1.5% of the placement fee once the candidate completes 90 days in the role
No cap on the number of roles or candidates you work on — earnings scale directly with your output and quality.
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years of tech recruiting experience (agency or in-house), with a track record on niche or senior roles
- An existing network or strong sourcing ability in specific tech domains (backend, data/ML, DevOps/infra, product engineering, fintech tech, etc.)
- Currently employed, freelancing, or between roles — this works well as a side engagement
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Based anywhere in India, fully remote
What This Is Not
- Not a full-time or fixed-hours position — no minimum commitment required
- No fixed monthly retainer — compensation is fully performance-based
- Not a license to approach our clients directly, on your own or via your current employer — client relationships stay with us (details shared during onboarding)
