Role Overview We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Freelance Content Creator to build our brand presence, educate our audience, and drive user acquisition. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing high-quality, engaging content that speaks directly to software engineers, tech professionals, and job seekers.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Ideation: Develop original content concepts centered around software engineering interviews, tech career growth, resume building, and system design.
- Video Production: Script, record, and edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) that captures attention and delivers value.
- Copywriting: Write clear, engaging, and professional copy for LinkedIn posts, technical carousels, and platform feature announcements.
- Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent, empowering, and authoritative brand voice that resonates with ambitious tech professionals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track engagement metrics and adapt content strategies based on what resonates best with the target audience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record as a content creator, social media manager, or digital marketer, preferably in the B2B SaaS, EdTech, or career coaching space.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing highly engaging short-form videos, written posts, and visual content (please include links to past work).
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the software engineering hiring landscape. You should be comfortable discussing topics like ATS tracking, technical interviews, and coding assessments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Filmora, Premiere, CapCut) and graphic design tools.
- Autonomy: Excellent time management and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently in a remote environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with AI video creation tools (e.g., HeyGen) and LLM-assisted workflows.
- A background in technical recruiting or software development.
