Role Description
The Food and Beverage Operations Manager (healthcare) is responsible for overseeing daily hospital kitchen as well as floor operations ensuring high standards of service, product quality, and client satisfaction. This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, NCR, India includes supervising front-of-house and back-of-house teams, monitoring food service processes, and optimizing workflow to maintain smooth operations. The role involves managing inventory and supplies, coordinating with vendors, enforcing hygiene and safety standards, and implementing operational policies. The manager will track patient feedback, resolve service issues, and develop initiatives to improve overall client satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include scheduling staff, supporting training and performance reviews, and working with leadership to meet financial targets and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management skills.
- Proven experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage management, with a solid understanding of menu execution and quality control.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to manage client relations and handle escalations professionally.
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a hospital.
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams; strong people management and conflict-resolution skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.
- Comfort with basic business metrics (sales, costs, margins).
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is beneficial; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
