Role Description The Food and Beverage Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for providing courteous and efficient food service to guests, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and organized dining environment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and clearing tables, assisting with basic food preparation as required, coordinating with kitchen staff, and following hygiene and safety standards. The associate will handle guest inquiries, resolve minor issues promptly, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in line with hotel service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage skills, with an understanding of menu items and basic service protocols.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess foundational Culinary Skills, including basic food handling, presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality or culinary training is an advantage.
