Role Description The Fleet Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban, responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations across multiple delivery segments. This role includes scheduling vehicles, assigning drivers, monitoring route performance, and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries for food, grocery, and e-commerce shipments. The Fleet Coordinator tracks vehicle utilization, maintains operational records, coordinates with drivers and operations teams, and supports resolution of on-ground issues to reduce delays and downtime. The position involves regular communication with internal teams and customers to provide status updates, address service concerns, and maintain service quality. The Fleet Coordinator also assists in implementing process improvements, compliance with safety and operational standards, and supports reporting and analysis for continuous optimization of fleet performance.
Qualifications
- Strong fleet-focused skills, including 20ft, 32ft Fleet Operations and Fleet Management, with experience in scheduling, routing, and utilization of vehicles.
- Operations-related capabilities, such as Operations Management and coordination across first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile delivery workflows.
- Customer-facing competencies, including Customer Service and clear Communication skills for interacting with drivers, internal teams, and clients.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Bangalore Urban, handle multiple priorities, and respond quickly to operational issues.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and fleet/transport management software; familiarity with data tracking and reporting is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of local routes and regulatory requirements for commercial vehicles in India is beneficial.
