We're Hiring | Financial Controller
Beauty Garage | Mumbai Andheri East
Beauty Garage is looking for an experienced Financial Controller who can take complete ownership of the company's financial operations, financial planning, cost control, profitability and compliance.
We are specifically looking for a professional who has previous experience working with manufacturing companies and beauty, cosmetics, personal care or FMCG brands, with a strong understanding of manufacturing finance, inventory management and distribution-led businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control the company's overall financial operations.
- Monitor profitability, cash flow, working capital and financial performance.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts and monthly MIS reports.
- Oversee manufacturing costs, product costing, inventory valuation and cost optimisation.
- Monitor distributor outstanding payments, receivables, payables and credit controls.
- Ensure statutory compliance, taxation, audits and strong internal financial controls.
- Lead the finance and accounts team and improve financial processes.
- Work closely with management on financial planning, business growth and strategic decisions.
- Implement strong ERP-based financial controls and reporting systems.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- Experience: 4–10 years in finance and financial controlling roles.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing and beauty, cosmetics, personal care or FMCG companies is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of product costing, manufacturing operations, inventory and distribution finance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance.
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
