Role Description The Vice President of Investment Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the company’s investment activities and financial strategy. This position oversees the evaluation, selection, and ongoing management of investments that support the company’s growth and long-term stability. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing investment strategies, conducting financial and market analysis, and performing due diligence on potential opportunities. The role also involves preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership, monitoring portfolio performance, managing risk, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners such as advisors and financial institutions. The Vice President ensures that all investment decisions align with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and sound financial practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a demonstrated ability to manage and optimize investment portfolios.
- Solid background in Finance, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in conducting Due Diligence, including risk assessment, market research, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of opportunities.
- Proven experience in developing and executing Investment Strategies that support business goals and risk tolerance.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Leadership experience in managing teams or cross-functional projects, with a collaborative and inclusive management style.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-management, organization, and time-management skills.
