Finance Manager / Team Lead – D2C
About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Finance Manager / Team Lead for a fast-growing D2C wellness and consumer brand.
The company operates in the consumer wellness space and is looking for a finance professional who can take ownership of end-to-end finance and accounting operations, while also working closely with the business on profitability, cash flow, working capital and financial reporting.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who has worked in a fast-paced D2C, e-commerce, FMCG, retail, wellness, beauty, personal care or consumer-brand environment.
Position: Finance Manager / Team Lead
Experience: 3–6 Years
Location: Gurugram
Work Model: Full-Time, In-Office, 5 Days a Week
Notice Period: Up to 30 Days
Compensation: 10-22 LPA
What You'll Own
- Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, billing, collections and monthly book closure
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Manage cash flow, working capital and fund planning
- Drive GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, statutory compliance and audit coordination
- Handle inventory and cost accounting, including reconciliation of financial and inventory transactions
- Monitor D2C and marketplace performance, including channel profitability, contribution margins and unit economics
- Work closely with business teams to provide financial insights for decision-making
- Drive finance process improvement and automation using Tally ERP/ERP systems and Advanced Excel
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and other external stakeholders
- Support financial controls, documentation and overall controllership
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a hands-on finance professional rather than someone who has worked only within a single finance vertical.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to end-to-end finance operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance
- Experience with month-end closure, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Hands-on exposure to cash flow and working capital management
- Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Experience in D2C, e-commerce, FMCG, retail, wellness, beauty, personal care, nutrition or consumer brands will be strongly preferred
