Job Description: Finance Intern

Position: Finance Intern
Internship Duration: 6 Months
Location: Kothrud, Pune

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to support our finance and accounting team. The intern will gain practical exposure to accounting, taxation, audit support, compliance, and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in bookkeeping, accounting entries, and ledger scrutiny.
- Support preparation of invoices, vouchers, payment records, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with GST, TDS, income-tax, and other statutory compliance work.
- Help in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and working papers.
- Organise and maintain client documents, files, and financial records.
- Support audit assignments, including verification of bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Perform basic data entry and Excel-based financial analysis.
- Coordinate with team members for client information and follow-ups.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), CA Foundation, CA Inter, or a similar qualification.
- Freshers with a strong interest in finance and accounting may apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Knowledge of Tally, GST, or income tax will be an advantage.
- Good communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
