Role Description The Finance and Accounts Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate financial records. The officer will prepare and review financial statements, support financial reporting, and assist in budgeting and cash-flow monitoring. Daily tasks include handling GST-related compliance, coordinating with external auditors or consultants, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and supporting export-related documentation from a finance perspective. The role also involves implementing internal controls, supporting management with financial insights, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Reporting to support budgeting, Required experience 1-3 years
- Candidates should possess expertise in Accounting and Financial Statements to maintain accurate books and prepare periodic reports.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and related statutory compliance, including filings and reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and Excel for data management and reporting.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams, banks, auditors, and external partners.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA Finance) are an advantage.
- Experience in export-oriented or agro-based businesses and familiarity with documentation for international trade is beneficial.
