Role Description The Field Services Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The individual in this role will perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Diesel Gensets and Solar PV systems at customer locations. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance checks, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The Field Services Engineer will provide on-site technical support, document service activities, and communicate clearly with customers about equipment status and recommended actions. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to escalate complex issues and support continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
- Strong field service capabilities, including on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power generation equipment.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and technical support skills for Diesel Gensets and Solar PV Modules.
- Experience with preventive maintenance practices, inspections, and performance checks on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to manage expectations at client sites.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations and work in field conditions as required.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and compliance related to power generation equipment.
