YOURWATT Energy is looking for a skilled and hands-on Field Service Technician to join our service team in Varanasi. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in inverter repair, electronics troubleshooting, installation, testing, and on-site customer service.
The technician will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues, repairing and servicing inverters and related electronic/solar equipment, performing installations, and providing effective on-site support to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service inverters and electronic equipment.
- Perform inverter assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Identify electrical and electronic faults and carry out component-level troubleshooting and repairs.
- Handle on-site service calls and resolve customer technical issues efficiently.
- Inspect wiring, batteries, connections, and other system components for faults.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure all repair and installation work is completed safely and according to company standards.
- Maintain service records, job reports, and details of repairs/replacements.
- Coordinate with the service team for escalated technical issues and spare-part requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, inverter repair, electronics repair, or a related technical role.
- Strong practical knowledge of inverter repair, testing, assembly, and fault finding.
- Understanding of solar systems, batteries, wiring, electrical components, and electrical safety.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits and identify faulty components.
- Good hands-on technical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable travelling to customer locations for service and installation work.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
