Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Fashion Embroidery Specialist/Associate/Executive/Manager. The role involves creating and executing embroidery designs for custom menswear, including suits, blazers, shirts, and ethnic wear, in line with brand standards and client preferences. The professional will translate design concepts into embroidery patterns, select appropriate threads and materials, and operate embroidery machines and tools with precision. Daily tasks include coordinating with design and production teams, reviewing samples, ensuring quality and consistency, and meeting project timelines. The role also includes maintaining embroidery equipment, managing inventory of embroidery materials, and contributing creative ideas to enhance garment detailing.
Qualifications
- Embroidery design and execution: Strong skills in hand and machine embroidery, pattern creation, motif placement, and garment embellishment.
- Technical proficiency: Ability to operate and maintain embroidery machines, use embroidery software or tools, and handle fabrics and materials commonly used in menswear.
- Fashion and styling awareness: Understanding of contemporary menswear trends, color coordination, fabric types, and how embroidery complements tailored garments.
- Quality and detail orientation: Attention to fine details, precision in stitching, quality checking of finished pieces, and adherence to brand standards.
- Collaboration and communication: Ability to work closely with designers, tailors, and sales teams; clear communication with clients and colleagues.
- Time management and organization: Capacity to manage multiple orders, prioritize tasks, and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience and education: Prior experience in fashion embroidery or garment embellishment; a diploma or degree in fashion design, textile design, or related field is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial skills: Basic sketching or CAD for design visualization, familiarity with custom tailoring processes, and a strong customer-centric mindset.
