About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our growing apparel team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in apparel design, trend forecasting, and product development, along with a keen eye for aesthetics and market trends. This role involves working closely with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams to create innovative collections aligned with brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and analyze upcoming fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and consumer preferences.
• Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and design themes.
• Create original sketches, CADs, and technical drawings for new collections.
• Select fabrics, trims, and materials in collaboration with sourcing teams.
• Coordinate and manage sampling processes end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
• Conduct and lead fit trials—fit accuracy is a must—and work closely with the sampling and production teams to ensure corrections are implemented.
• Work closely with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Review and approve fit, quality, and finishing during sample development.
• Collaborate with merchandisers to align collections with customer needs and market demand.
• Present design concepts and collections to management for approval.
• Ensure brand identity and consistency across all product lines.
• Stay updated with global fashion industry trends, competitor analysis, and market insights.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design / Apparel Design / Textile Design.
• 3–5 years of experience as a fashion designer in the apparel industry women’s WESTERN wear
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
