Role Description The Fashion Advisor will work full time on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, supporting customers in selecting apparel, accessories, and looks that match their style preferences, body types, and occasions. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, offering fashion consultations, and demonstrating in-depth product knowledge of current collections, brands, and trends. The Fashion Advisor will coordinate outfits, recommend complementary items, and manage fitting-room experiences to ensure a smooth and positive shopping journey. Daily responsibilities include maintaining visual merchandising standards, monitoring inventory for assigned sections, handling basic sales transactions, and collaborating with store team members to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. The role also requires staying updated on fashion trends, brand guidelines, and promotional campaigns to deliver consistent, high-quality advice to all customers.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Fashion Consulting and styling skills, with the ability to curate looks for different occasions and customer profiles.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge of apparel, accessories, fabrics, fits, and current fashion trends.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, including active listening and a professional, inclusive approach to all clients.
- Candidates should possess Sales capabilities, including upselling, cross-selling, and working toward individual and store targets.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or fashion, familiarity with visual merchandising, and basic point-of-sale (POS) operation skills.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, stand for extended periods, and collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.
- A diploma or degree in Fashion, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent practical experience is valued.
