Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Farm Manager role based in Manasa, Madhya Pradesh. The Farm Manager will oversee daily farm operations, including crop planning, fieldwork coordination, irrigation schedules, etc. Responsibilities include supervising farm workers, monitoring resource use, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance safety standards. The role involves tracking production data, managing budgets and inventories, and working with suppliers and service providers. The Farm Manager will also implement best practices in agriculture to improve productivity and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Strong farm management skills with experience overseeing Farms and daily operations.
- 2+ years experience in the domain.
- Knowledge of Agriculture practices, including crop planning, soil management, and field operations.
- Practical experience with Irrigation systems, water scheduling, and efficient resource utilization.
- Ability to lead and supervise teams, organize work schedules, and maintain clear communication.
- Basic understanding of farm budgeting, inventory control, and record keeping.
- Familiarity with farm machinery and equipment maintenance is beneficial.
- Relevant qualification in agriculture or farm management, or equivalent practical experience.
- Commitment to safety standards, ethical animal treatment, and sustainable farming practices.
