Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Faculty for Mobile App Development role based in Bhubaneswar. The faculty member will design and deliver mobile app development courses, prepare lesson plans, and create instructional materials that align with current industry practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting classroom and lab sessions, demonstrating mobile development tools and frameworks, guiding learners through assignments and projects, and providing individual feedback and mentoring. The role involves updating course content to reflect emerging technologies, participating in curriculum reviews, supporting assessments and evaluations, and collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching methodologies. The faculty member will also engage in academic counseling, maintain clear records of learner performance, and contribute to workshops or seminars related to mobile technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mobile app development concepts, including mobile UI/UX principles and application lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major mobile platform (such as Android or iOS) and related development tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies commonly used in mobile app development (for example, Java/Kotlin, Swift, or cross-platform frameworks).
- Ability to design structured course content, develop lesson plans, and create clear learning materials for diverse skill levels.
- Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to explain technical topics in accessible language and engage learners in practical exercises.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities, with a commitment to inclusive and supportive teaching practices.
- Capability to keep pace with industry trends in mobile technology and incorporate new tools, frameworks, and best practices into the curriculum.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience in mobile development and training.
- Experience as a trainer, instructor, or faculty member in a technical discipline is preferred.
