Role Description
To manage the overall operations of the biscuit manufacturing plant and ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective and timely production while maintaining product quality, food safety, productivity and statutory compliance.
Qualifications and Preferences
- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering
- Strong production planning and production management skills to oversee scheduling, capacity utilization, and workflow optimization.
- Experience in quality control and manufacturing operations to maintain product standards and ensure process reliability.
- Proficiency in operations management to coordinate resources, monitor performance, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Should Prior experience in Biscuit/cake or FMCG manufacturing environments, preferably in factory or plant leadership roles.
- Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements relevant to food and beverage manufacturing.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, resolve operational challenges, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Production, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort with using production management software and basic data analysis tools to track and improve factory performance.
