Job details:
ULTRATEND is a marketing-as-a-service provider — a 360-degree execution partner for growing companies. We work across two verticals: Global Exhibition Solutions, designing, building and managing exhibition presence worldwide, and Digital Growth Solutions, covering performance marketing, content and e-commerce.
Our clients own their strategy and their brand. We take care of the delivery — the stand, the build, the logistics, the campaign, the reporting. Food and beverage has been a focus vertical for us since our earliest days in the exhibitions business.
The opportunityThis is a new-business role selling into food and beverage businesses across the UK and Europe. You would own the vertical end to end — your targeting, your approach, your pipeline, your close — working directly with leadership rather than through layers.
The remit spans both of our service lines. Exhibitions are the anchor: F&B brands run demanding show calendars, and that is where the substantial annual programmes sit. Digital Growth Solutions gives you a natural second conversation with the same marketing teams.
What you'll do• Own the full sales cycle, from first conversation through to signed contract
• Build and grow annual exhibition programmes with F&B clients across the UK and Europe, rather than one-off builds
• Introduce Digital Growth Solutions as a second line into accounts you already look after
• Take ownership of margin as well as top-line revenue
• Meet your monthly, quarterly and annual sales budget, and keep your pipeline current in our CRM
Proposal and bid support comes from our central bids team, and design and delivery are handled by our production teams. The rest is yours to own.
What you bringEssential
• 5+ years in B2B sales or account management within the marketing, advertising, events or exhibitions industry, selling to food and beverage clients
• A demonstrated record of delivering your sales budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, with examples you can walk us through
• An established network among marketing leaders and decision-makers at F&B businesses across the UK and Europe
• A working understanding of how F&B marketing teams operate — how brand calendars are set, how trade show participation is budgeted and approved, and the difference between selling to retail-led and foodservice-led businesses
• Experience running a full sales cycle end to end, from first conversation to signed contract, without relying on inbound leads
• Available to work hours that suit UK and European client time zones
• A valid passport and the ability to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Comfortable working in a CRM, and disciplined about keeping your pipeline up to date
Preferred
• Additional European languages — German, French, Spanish or Italian
• Experience with international exhibition programmes such as Gulfood, Anuga, SIAL or IFE
• Existing valid UK or Schengen visas
• Exposure to digital marketing, performance media or e-commerce services
• Experience selling into UK and European markets from an offshore base
Working pattern and travelFully remote, with working hours aligned to UK and European client time zones. The role involves travel for client meetings and trade shows, both domestically and internationally. Travel and expenses are covered.
CompensationCompetitive salary plus performance-based commission, discussed at second stage.
