Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India for an experienced staff member in a CA firm environment. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting, tax, and compliance activities for clients, including preparation and review of financial statements, income tax and GST returns, and supporting documentation. The team member will assist in handling assessments, departmental queries, and litigation matters related to refunds and demands, while coordinating with tax authorities as needed. Responsibilities also include supporting international taxation and Ind AS/IFRS-related work, contributing to Virtual CFO services, and ensuring accurate and timely compliance for NGOs and non-profit organizations. The role requires collaboration with senior professionals, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and delivering clear, client-focused advisory support.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and working with Ind AS/IFRS.
- Practical experience in direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, GST returns, and related compliance.
- Exposure to international taxation and ability to research and interpret cross-border tax and regulatory issues.
- Understanding of NGO and non-profit registration processes and ongoing income tax and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software, spreadsheets, and standard office productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field; pursuing or holding CA/CS/CMA qualifications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and authorities.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
